Become a CSA Member!
Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) is a model of farming that comes from Black farmers from the Southern U.S. who developed creative and interdependent systems to survive and thrive. In this model, CSA members reserve a share of nourishing, local farm vegetables for the season. Members’ support ensures farmers have the resources to grow food and the peace of mind knowing our produce will reach people. For every crop of vegetables we grow, CSA members take on a portion of the risk and abundance of our production. At Kasama Farm we value collaboration and bringing people together, and we see our CSA members as an important part of our community.
Membership Options
We offer two types of CSA membership. A weekly share and a bi-weekly share.
Our weekly share CSA members will receive:
20 boxes filled with 6-9 nourishing, freshly-harvested vegetables and herbs
Weekly newsletters to hear what’s happening on the farm and to learn more about what’s in your box
Our bi-weekly share CSA members will receive:
10 boxes filled with 6-9 nourishing, freshly-harvested vegetables and herbs
Bi-weekly newsletters to hear what’s happening on the farm and to learn more about what’s in your box
Share Distribution
This is how we will get our food from the field to your home.
Boxes will be distributed between June 13 - October 31 (with a week off in August or Sept so we can take a break).
You have two options where you can pick up your CSA box.
At Filipino Bayanihan Center at 1537 SE Morrison St. in Portland, OR
At Kasama Farm in Odell
Membership Prices
We offer our shares at a sliding scale so members can pay according to their means. We ask that shares are paid for by April 1 in order to support us in offsetting the upfront costs of growing. We are able to create individual payment plans with members. We partner with PNWCSA to be able to accept SNAP and Double Up Food Bucks benefits.
Equity members purchase their share at $0-39/weekly box
At-cost members purchase their share at $40/weekly box
Ally members purchase their share at $41-60/weekly box
